I dunno why they don't use "The Cadillac of sports sedans" to market this car.
Obligatory "Dat ass"
I really need to sit down in a CUE equipped vehicle and try out the system, because I really don't think it's as bad as people say it is.

I've heard it works nicely, I just think the interface is ugly as all hell. I don't get why nobody but BMW can design an interface that's modern, elegant and functional.

What about Audi's MMI system? It looks nice.

I don't know why they bothered to change the front fascia from this. The new one is so shite. It's like a stupid fucking grin.

I like the old one better, but I don't mind the new one. It looks fine.
That lower portion screams 3-series to me though.

Its still slower than pretty much most of its competition. The 3.6L is where its at.

I feel like the 3.6 makes the front end too heavy. The 2.0T makes the perfect amount of power I feel. This car's a corner carver, not a drag racer.

maybe so, but its 0-60 is simply unacceptable for a car of this class.

Edmunds managed to get a 6.3 0-60 out of it. I'd call that perfectly acceptable.

The interface is nice...although the map itself looks pretty old-school still. I wish they'd ditch those tiny pop-up screens, BMW's screen is so much bigger and nicer. Also higher PPI. MB is moving to the new 12.3" screens in all their cars soon, so Audi better get that Connected Dash in their cars.

It just bugs me how all ZeGermans just kinda plop their infotainment screens onto the top of the dash. It looks tacky IMO.

the BMW has a similar sized engine and similar performance numbers, yet is 1 second faster to 60. 272 hp out of that 2.0T should be enough to scoot that car quicker than 6.3.

I have a feeling if Cadillac would hook up that 8-speed to the 2.0T engine, it would help that number greatly. Or used that witchcraft TwinPower thing BMW uses.

maybe so. Ultimately, for my $$$$, the ATS has to be patently better than its competitors given its price, and it is only that way in the steering department. Performance, build and cachet are all lacking.

It undercuts a lot of it's competitors in price though, so it has that going for it.
I'd still rather have a 320i. If they sorted out some of the materials like they did in the CTS, I'd snatch one up though.

BMWs design is ok, it looks somewhat integrated....although I prefer the design on the F01 and F10 where it's integrated completely. The MB design on the new S-Class also looks great, I think the face lifted SL will use that, and the facelift CLS is also at least getting the bigger screen if not the digital dash.

i drove both and I have no regrets.
